Dhurandhar: The Revenge Is Rewriting Bollywood History — But Will It Touch Rs 1000 Crore?

Bollywood June 21, 2026 By FilmiTalk

Seven weeks in and Dhurandhar: The Revenge is still doing what most Bollywood films can only dream of — collecting crores. The Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar collaboration has crossed Rs 977 crore nett in Hindi alone, making it an undisputed all-time blockbuster and the highest-grossing Bollywood film on home turf. It single-handedly created the Rs 700 crore, Rs 800 crore, and Rs 900 crore clubs for Hindi cinema. That’s not a movie, that’s a movement.

But here’s the bittersweet reality — the Rs 1000 crore Hindi-only milestone now looks just out of reach, with the film likely wrapping up around Rs 980 crore before curtains fall in Week 8. Still, factor in Rs 60 crore from South Indian versions and the all-India total comfortably crosses four digits. Oh, and nearly Rs 668 crore in net profits? That’s not just blockbuster territory — that’s generational filmmaking economics.

Ranveer Singh has officially entered a league of his own. But now we have to ask — can any Bollywood film actually top this anytime soon?
